Green Tree Services (“Green Tree Services,” “we,” “us”) is a family-owned tree care company based in Warrenton, Virginia. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit greentreeservicespro.com or ask us for an estimate, how we use it, and the choices you have.
The short version
- We only ask for what we need to prepare your estimate: your name, phone, email and, if you want, your city and a few details about the job.
- We use it to contact you about your request. We never sell your personal information.
- Our website uses cookies and similar tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads and Microsoft Clarity) to understand how the site is used and to show our ads to people who visited us.

Information we collect
Information you give us
When you fill out an estimate form on our website (including the pop-up offer), we collect:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- Your city and a description of the work, if you choose to add them
- The service you’re interested in
- Your agreement to be contacted about your estimate
If you call, text or email us, we keep a record of that conversation and any details you share (for example, your address so we can visit the property).
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site or send a form, we and the tools we use may collect:
- How you found us — for example, whether you came from a Google search, a Google ad, social media or an email, the first page you landed on, and campaign tags in the link (such as UTM codes or an ad click ID).
- How you use the site — pages viewed, buttons clicked (like tapping our phone number), whether you started or sent a form, and whether you opened or closed the pop-up.
- Technical information — IP address, browser and device type. When you send a form, we store your IP address and browser details with your request to prevent spam and fraud. This information is never included in the emails our system sends.

We will not add you to a marketing newsletter or send you unrelated promotional messages without your permission.

These providers may use their own cookies and collect information such as your IP address according to their own privacy policies: Google, Microsoft and Trustindex. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, although some features may not.
Advertising & remarketing
We advertise on Google. Using Google Analytics and Google Ads, we may create groups of past visitors (for example, people who looked at our tree removal page but didn’t ask for an estimate) and show them our ads while they browse other websites, YouTube or Google Search. We also exclude people who already contacted us, so we don’t keep advertising to them.
When you send a form, we may share a scrambled (hashed) version of your email address and phone number with Google to measure which ads led to your request (“enhanced conversions”). Hashing turns them into a code that cannot be read back, and Google uses it only to match your request to an ad.
You can turn off personalized ads from Google at adssettings.google.com, and learn more about opting out of interest-based advertising at optout.aboutads.info. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with other companies for their own marketing. We only share it with:
- Service providers who help us run our business — website hosting and business email (Hostinger), and the analytics and advertising tools listed above. They may use it only to provide their services to us.
- Our team — staff who need it to respond to you and do the work.
- Authorities — when required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
- A future owner — if the business is sold or transferred, your information may be transferred with it, under the same protections.
How long we keep it
- Estimate requests and customer records — for as long as needed to serve you and keep business, tax and warranty records, then deleted.
- Our own site analytics — up to 25 months.
- Google and Microsoft tools — according to their own retention settings.
How we protect it
Our website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Estimate requests are stored in a private system that only authorized team members can access, protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication, and every access is logged. Our forms include anti-spam protection. No method of storing or sending information online is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect yours.
Your choices & rights
You can contact us at any time to:
- Ask what personal information we have about you and get a copy
- Correct information that is wrong
- Ask us to delete your information (unless we need to keep it by law — for example, records of a completed job)
- Stop receiving calls, texts or emails from us about your request
- Opt out of our use of your information for targeted advertising
Virginia residents may have these rights under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, and we honor these requests for all of our customers. To make a request, email info@greentreeservicespro.com or call (703) 743-4688. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we’ll respond within 45 days. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision, and if you’re not satisfied you may contact the Virginia Attorney General.
Children
Our website and services are for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or services change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. If we make important changes, we’ll make them clear on this page.
